Anachronium is a work in progress video game by Triston Griffiron, mixing real time and turn based strategy in spaceships battles.

In the context of the project, we are doing the characters designs & portraits that will appear in game. The process includes exchanging sketches and rendering the final static visuals. The portraits will then be used in dialogue scenes, but also during battles. Their presence will allow to humanize the different protagonists and make the player more engaged in the story. Inspiration for how they will be used include series such as Hades, Advance Wars, and Wargroove.

Our Art practice is rooted in lo-fi printing techniques such as blockprint, risograph & screenprinting.

You can find our prints on our online shop but also in physical shops in Metz (Hisler BD) & Paris (La Régulière, Librairie Sans Titre, Le Monte en l'Air, L'Atelier). We also attend print fairs where you will be able to browse our wares and meet us for real. We communicate on them on our instagram page.

These techniques make two things possible: access to printed colors out of the realm of possibilities of cmyk and the crafting of accessible quality prints.

From a technical point of view, these also also fine control of colored pictures layering and the process of working with a limited color palette is also very fun.

Finally, the accessibility of these reproduction techniques also make them ideal in the context of creative workshops.
